Open positions
We are currently looking for 2-3 postdoctoral fellows in the fields of single-cell/spatial omics, organoids, and bioinformatics and 2 research assistants.
Our research group is primarily focused on developing and applying single-cell and spatial multi-omics technologies to unravel the spatio-temporal regulatory mechanisms underlying cell fate decisions during the development and pathological processes of respiratory organs.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting research on the mechanisms of lung organ development and the early occurrence of lung cancer. Develop high-resolution, high-throughput spatial multi-omics sequencing technologies, develop spatio-temporal regulatory algorithms for spatial multi-omics based on machine learning, etc., and conduct research on the regulatory mechanisms of cell fate in development and diseases. Undertake project tasks in the directions of lung organ development and cancer occurrence.
Requirements:
- In the field of life sciences or medicine-related majors, about to obtain a doctoral degree or having obtained a doctoral degree within no more than three years;
- Passionate about scientific research, highly motivated, proactive in work, willing to learn new knowledge and new technologies, with good sense of responsibility and team spirit, good communication skills and strong Chinese and English communication and writing abilities;
- Have a solid foundation in biochemistry, cell biology, and bioinformatics. Those who have received good training in single-cell/spatial sequencing technologies and high-throughput sequencing data analysis (such as scRNA-seq/ATAC-seq/WES, etc.) or are familiar with the culture experiments of stem cells and organoids will be given priority.
Research Assistants
Job Responsibilities:
- The work mainly involves the construction of single-cell/spatial omics libraries, data analysis, cell and molecular functional experiments, etc.;
- Conduct relevant experimental research under the guidance of the project leader and assist in completing other related work.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in biology or computational science and other related majors;
- Be conscientious and responsible, have strong hands-on ability, and possess the spirit of active learning and team cooperation;
- Those with research experience in bioinformatics analysis and omics technologies will be given priority.
